Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 (2017) comes as no surprise as the sequel had already been announced a week before the original movie's release by Marvel Studios. GOTG had a production budget of $170 million and raked up excellent numbers at the worldwide box-office of around $752,650,00 making it not only the highest grossing movie of 2014 in the US but also a worldwide success.Marvel has now given us a few more details regarding the sequel including that it will be both written and directed by James Gunn with most of the original cast returning to their respective roles. Thus far there are no details regarding a synopsis so your guess is as good as mine but if the first movie is anything to go by, this will be a huge success once more for Marvel Studios and Disney.

In the original Guardians of the Galaxy film a coccoon was seen in the Collector's collection. This coccoon is rumored to contain Adam Warlock who is a member of The Guardians in the comic. He is also rumored to appear in the sequel.
