We all remember The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and all it's incantations, which by my count currently stands at 5 movies, this includes the Platinum Dunes reboot a few years ago and now the prequel movie, Leatherface.
Sadly however, this movie sits in movie limbo and why do I say so, well it was completed over a year ago with Lionsgate studios picking it up but no release date has been given and no trailer......??? Who knows when we will ever see this or when this will hit theaters or even DVD also given the fact that its halloween, now is the erfect time to ask Lionsgate WTH dudes??? We all waiting to see this!
The movie is drected by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury and stars Sam Strike, Vanessa Grasse, Jessica Madsen, James Bloor, Sam Coleman, Jessica Madsen, Lilli Taylor, Stephen Dorff, and Finn Jones.
LEATHERFACE SYNOPSIS
a young nurse is kidnapped by a group of violent teens who escape from a mental hospital and take her on a road trip from hell. Pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface.
