Netflix and Marvel are the best things to happen to each other since bread met butter! We watched 2 huge seasons of Daredevil which showed spectacular action and a story that captivated you in every episode, so much so that you have to watch one episode after the other just to see what happens next!
Then Marvel and Netflix brought us Jessica Jones. It was different to Daredevil but captivating in a darker way and far more subtle in parts than Daredevil was and inbetween all this we got introduced to Luke Cage, lover and friend of Jessica Jones.
Now Luke Cage has his own show and as with his Netflix predecessors, there are only 13 episodes so its a rather quick watch. Most episodes are approximately 50 minutes long and jam packed with action from start to finish.
Luke Cage is not the same as Daredevil or Jessica Jones and this I'm sure is due to the fact that it needed to stand apart but also at the same time remain part of the Netflix / Marvel tapestry. The show has a whole different feel to it in the same way Jessica Jones differs to Daredevil. The characters are varied and all charismatic in their own ways and each with an equally interesting backstory that pieces itself nicely together towards the end.
Like any story worth telling, it has adventure, romance, love, hate, revenge and triumph of the human spirit against all odds. I thoroughly enjoyed this show and can't wait to see more from the crossbreeding stable of Marvel and Netflix, with the return of Daredevil season 3, Jessica Jones season 2, The Punisher season 1 as well as Iron Fist season 1.
Do yourself a favor and watch this, if anything it will be an interesting journey into Harlem and a new type of superhero, one with his own story and own atmosphere. You might just be pleasantly surprised.

Now I don't know what you thought of the first season of Supergirl, not serious enough perhaps, the story seemed a bit rushed or perhaps not your cup of tea? Whatever you thought of Supergirl, Season 2 of the TV Show might just change your mind!
Up to now, all we've seen on Supergirl of her Man of Steel cousin has been shadowed or veiled with no real proper look at him and the one or two emails our hero receives from Clark but now we get Superman in the flesh!
Clark Kent / Kal-El / Superman will be a welcome addition to the show now that the story has built around our hero and she's come into her own. We've seen her fears, her emotions and her love life so it's ok for the show to broaden oout and give us more. OK so the next thing is, where's Henry Cavill? Sorry fans, Cavill's Superman stays in the movies, instead we have Tyler Hoechlin.
Tyler Hoechlin, you may remember from his popular role in Teen Wolf or perhaps even his role in 7th Heaven but whatever you remember him for, he has established himself as a teen heart throb as well as having his own fanbase already and one knows that his role as the iconic Superman, can only boost his career as an actor.
By now fans of The Flash and Arrow know of the importance of Greg Berlanti's contribution in bringing to life two of DC's most beloved superheroes, so it really won't go down badly if he attempts to bring yet another character to the small screen and with the popularity of Kryptonians thanks to Man of Steel, perhaps this will overlap in the success of the upcoming TV show, Supergirl.
Melissa Benoist stars as the main character. Supergirl boasts amongst athers, a cast consisting of Dean Cain, Helen Slater and Calista Flockhart.

The new Daredevil TV show is ready to air on Netflix come early April and from all the images and clips we've seen so far, it is a far cry from the original 2003 Ben Affleck version we saw then. This seems far more darker in it's tone and perhaps brings across the original feel that the comic books have given us since Daredevil's early days.
What we have is a get dirty vigilante action hero who will do whatever it takes to restore the balance of justice in his neighbourhood. Charlie Cox stars in the title role alongside Rosario Dawson, Scott Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll and Vincent D'Onofrio.

So what are Berlanti and The CW cooking up next? Well they've brought in DC alum, Brando Routh, who played Bryan Singer's Superman in Superman Returns (2005) and this time he swaps the red and blue suit for a new one in the form of The Atom! Is it coincidental that it's timing falls within the timeline of the release of the much hyped Marvel movie, Ant-Man, who knows Perhaps if this works we'll be seeing yet another DC superhero heating up our small screens at home with his minute adventures. The Headless Horseman is depicted as wearing the traditional "redcoat" uniform of the British Army. However, the Hessian mercenaries employed by Great Britain wore their own distinct uniforms. The most common were a green coat with red trim, or a blue jacket with gold trim.
The character Frank Irving's last name is an homage to Washington Irving, the author of the original story of Sleepy Hollow.
Most of the spells are spoken in Greek(not with a very good translation though)

Injoke: One of Clancy Brown's (Sheriff Corbin) earlier movies was Highlander (1986), which involved decapitation. Brown's character, The Kurgan, is decapitated at the end of the movie.
The polygrapher does not follow any recognizable polygraph test. Such tests consist of asking the subject a series of yes and no questions, preceded by some baseline questions. The polygrapher lets Ichabod ramble on, which would make it impossible to get any usable readings.
When Andy Brooks is revived in the morgue it is said to him in Greek "Ο θάνατός ήταν μόνο η αρχή σκλάβος, η ψυχή σου είναι δικό μου" when what should have been said is "Ο θάνατός ήταν μόνο η αρχή σκλάβε, η ψυχή σου είναι δική μου". Incidentally Google Translate does the exact same error when translating from English to Greek. The meaning of the phrase is "Death was only the beginning slave, your soul is mine". Also what the demon said afterwards was incorrect. "Απελευθέρωσε την" (apeleftherose tin) should be the correct sentence and instead it was "apletherisetis".
Ichabod says that the bill is $4.95 plus an additional 41 cents tax. A minute later he says that it's a 10% tax. Ten percent of $4.95 is 49 cents, not 41 cents.
The plant that Crane touches as they search for the lost colony is Mimosa pudica, a plant that is truly sensitive to touch, as the leaves close up when something or someone comes in contact with them. But the leaves don't close up for days, only for some hours.
Despite Abbie's assertation to Crane that "That's the first time you ever called me Abbie", he did in fact call her Abbie in the pilot episode, when he told her, "But perhaps you were called to something, Abbie, to finish the work your sheriff started."
The end credits misspell Tarrytown as "Terrytown" in "Terrytown Psych Nurse."
When Jenny enters the cell where the Wendigo is being held chained, she is not wearing a glove on her right hand. But when she puts the organ box on the floor, she is wearing one.
When Ichabod and Abbie find Joe after the first two murders, he's unconscious but wearing a shirt. Every other time he transforms, the shapechanging destroys his clothing and he's naked afterward.

In the pilot episode of "The Flash", the yellow streak of light reveals the face and suit of Eobard Thawne, Professor Zoom, also known as Reverse-Flash.
When Dr. Wells visits his hidden office in Star Labs, a news headline from the future is shown repeatedly which states The Flash vanished during a Crisis. In the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" mini-series of comics, Barry saves reality at the expense of his life, vanishing from the new reality.
Eobard Thawne is the alter ego of Barry Allen's arch-nemesis, Professor Zoom, also known as Reverse Flash. He wears a costume with a color scheme that is the inverse of The Flash: yellow instead of red for the body, red instead of yellow for the lightning accents, and black instead of white for the circle in his chest logo.
Ronnie Raymond who is played by Robbie Amell becomes The superhero Firestorm.
