REVIEWA very nicely done murder mystery with enough twists and turns to keep you glued to the screen throughout. This movie has everything going for it, from a good story, to wonderful and well-known cast, with heavyweights that include Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Christopher Plummer and last but definitely not least Daniel Craig stepping out of his Bond persona for a while to play master detective Benoit Blanc, with a Southern American accent to boot.
Everyone loves a good whodunnit movie and if that's what you want to watch then this one's for you. You barely have time to catch up with what's happening and the story throws yet another curve ball. Amongst such a star studded cast, it's always difficult feat to stand up above the star power but Craig's character does seem to shine brighter than the rest as he takes on the role of a detective trying to put together the events of and solve the murder.
One thing's for sure, there aren't many movies of this genre made with such a high calibre of talent or even story and in a world where superheroes a dominating almost every aspect of television and theatre screens, it's a very nice change.
One thing I find hard to believe is that this movie was made with only a budget of only $40 million and then finishes with a worldwide box office of $217,944,164, if that's anything to go by perhaps a sequel is already in the works.
