Before he was X-Men's Professor Xavier he was Captain Jean-Luc Picard, of course im referring to the cult icon that is Patrick Stewart and he's returning to a very well-loved character in the new TV show Star Trek: Picard.
Trekkies across the globe are waiting restlessly for this show to air and thankfully the wait is almost over as it is scheduled to premiere on January 23, 2020 with a second season already commissioned already! Now if that doesn't speak of our anticipation then I really truly don't know what does.
With focus on action in every new show and fast paced stories playing themsleves out, it is the belief that this is a more dramatic show to it's counterpart, Star Trek: Discovery so join me and the rest of the world as we look forward to what could be an extremely fascinating show and if all else fails, we have Patrick Stewart back where he belongs, as Jean-Luc Picard!

It's been 2 decades since the original release of The Matrix (1999) and two sequels later the announcement of a new Matrix movie is officially int he works with a 2021 release date. In a time when cinematic franchises are ruling the big screens, this makes sense and if the story is as incredible as the first movie and let's not forget Keanu's timely return to superstardom of late, then I don't see why this won't also be a raging success.
“The Matrix” franchise will continue with a fourth film that’s currently in development, with Lana Wachowski set to write and direct, and Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively.
The project has been kept mostly under wraps, as plot details are currently unknown. In addition to Reeves and Moss, actors already confirmed to be joining the cast include Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe), as well as newcomers Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, Toby Onwumere, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who is rumored to be playing young Morpheus.
Lambert Wilson might soon be added to the list, according to a recent report by French outlet Allocine (via The Playlist), that says Wilson, who played The Merovingian in “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Matrix Revolutions,” is currently in negotiations to return to for the upcoming fourth film. Pproduction on the film may conflict with his schedule, so it’s possible that he won’t be back.
In the “Matrix” universe, The Merovingian (sometimes called The Frenchman) is an old, powerful program that resides within the Matrix. The self-described “trafficker of information” and his wife Persephone (played by Monica Bellucci) operate a smuggling ring, providing a haven for exiled programs in the Matrix.
Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell, one of the most visionary sci-fi writers of our time, are co-writing the script with Wachowski. Mitchell is the author of “Cloud Atlas,” which the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer adapted into a 2012 film.
Additionally, cinematographer John Toll, Academy Award winner for “Braveheart” and “Legends of the Fall,” also nominated for Terrence Malick’s “The Thin Red Line,” will lens the fourth film.
The word is still out on if, Lilly Wachowski, the original trilogy’s co-director, will be involved in the project.
Over the course of the three previous “Matrix” films, which include “The Matrix,” “The Matrix Reloaded,” and “The Matrix Revolutions,” the franchise grossed more than $1.6 billion at the global box office. However, the sequels were met with critical derision, which means “Matrix 4” may be an opportunity to stabilize the franchise’s legacy.
THE MATRIX (1999) SYNOPSIS
Thomas Anderson, a computer programmer, is led to fight an underground war against powerful computers who have constructed his entire reality with a system called the Matrix.
All I can say about this movie is just wow! Yup, it;s that incredible and more and I will even go on to say that it actually is a worthy sequel to James Cameron's original movies and not surprising at all because not only was Cameron part of the story writing process but even went so far as to produce it also!
The movie returns to basics and gives us the original characters and so worthy new ones too. The story takes what we know, flips it on it's head and creates an entirely new mythos on which to carry on the franchise in a whole new direction while still maintaining the core elements regarding the rise of the machines against humanity.
In 1992, Cameron released Terminator 2 and this movie was so well recieved and in a completely different direction to the original that shot Cameron's star even brighter as a director and filmmaker already proving he knew how to bring crowds into theatres and make money, of course Cameron went on to direct Titanic and Avatar, movie which became the highest grossing movies of their time and this only makes Terminator all that more of a reason to watch.
The Terminator originals are back in the form of Linda Hamilton and everyone's favourite killing machine, the T-800 as played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, who incidentally is also the only actor to have appeared in one form or another in every Terminator movie made to date.
I'm glad this movie took the turn that it did with us finally getting rid of the overdone "John Connor" future and replaced with a whole entirely new future with new heroes and so many new stories to continue the legacy with. Perhaps I'm too much of a fan to give an unbiased review but I will definitely advise any self-respecting fan to give this one a look, not just for yet another Terminator movie but for one which actually may have redeemed it to it's former status, almost forgetting all the sub-par attempts to date to continue where Caeron left off.
I have to mention Tim Miller, who clearly understands the pace needed, by keeping it going and trying to achieve a story worth telling. Miller himself needs no introduction as he already brought life to Ryan Reynold's Deadpool and continues with his winning formulae with the Terminator franchise.
The movie was released on October 23, 2019 (Europe) and November 1, 2019 (United States). Made with a budget of $185,000,000 and having made only $261,119,292 worldwide, one wonders if this all is a little too late and the fans have had enough Terminator stories, that being said perhaps they should take a page out of Marvel Studios or even George Lucas Handbook and create an entire universe of characters with which to make new stories or movies about. At the slim chance that James Cameron comes across this article, I do hope he listens and utilises every bit of the Terminator lore to create his own Terminator legacy.

To see the names Jerry Bruckheimer and Will Smith together is pure cinematic magic and we;'re guessing this will ring true for Gemini Man (2019) also. The legendary producer Bruckheimer and Smith have worked on such hits as Enemy of the State (1999), Bad Boys (1995) and Bad Boys II (2003) and have generated alot of action and of course, money in box office revenue & tickets.
Couple Smith, Bruckheimer with Director Ang Lee and you may as well sit back and get Ready as Will Smith takes on ... Will Smith in what's promising to be something worth watching in 2019.

The Alien franchise is over 20 years old and has still survived into a new century with many sequels and crossover movies, the latest having been 2011's Prometheus and director Ridley Scott who originally brought us the first movie continues the saga in this prequel to the original and sequel to Prometheus.
Alien: Covenant(2017) stars Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Katherine Waterston, Guy Pearce, Billy Crudup and funnyman Danny McBride. This one will be released around the beginning of August 2017.

Mars and some evil creature have been the plot of quite a few movies over the years but I guarantee you that it would never have been as stylishly done as with actors such as Jake Gyllenhall and Ryan Reynolds. Life (2017) is a sci-fi thriller that already has fans garnering for it release across the world, myself included!

When Science fiction meet the horror / thriller genre then it's always an interesting roller coaster ride and done well will be a movie that's more than memorable, so let's hop Kill Command is that type of movie. The movie has been described as Predator meets The Terminator ( both with Arnold Schwarzenegger....really?! ) and hopefully if it's half as good as either those are then it will be worth watching!
