In 2017 the world watched in awe as Gal Gadot breathed life into one of the comic worlds most loved and most powerful heoine, Wonder Woman (2017) and now 3 years later we get the amazing sequel named Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) set in, you guessed it, the year 1984.
The original movie in 2017 earned a worldwide total $821,847,012 off a budget of $149,000,000 which interstingly enough is the exact same budget of Disney's Frozen 2 ( I just had to mention that... ), deeming the movie an obvious box-office success.
This time around our hero must once again endure all sorts of obstacles and of course save the world, because that's what heroes do and that's what we all expect from any epic superhero movie.
Wonder Woman face 2 key enemies namely Cheetah and Maxwell Lord, while her love interest, Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine, returns and the two are immediately paired up again... something about this has a Captain America vibe about it....
The movie is directed once again by Patty Jenkins, who also directed the original and has a release date of around June 2020 across the world. I don't know about you but I for one can't wait to this and hope it blows the original out of the water with a great story, aweosme visual effects and enough hero to make us excited after the last Avengers: Endgame movie.
