In 2018 Tom Hardy joined with one of Marvel's most iconic villains to become Venom in the movie with the same title. Venom (2018) was slated by critics however, critics and fans differed in their opinions, thankfully, and the movie almost recovered its entire budget during it's opening raking in over $80 million and by the end of it's theatrical has made over $815 million globally, showing critics the middle finger and becoming a raging success.
I canalmost guarantee the next movie will be hated by the critics too but will this stop us from watching a sequel and I can most assuredly say no it won't. We are drawn to Venom and his antics because that's the kind of character he is and as the fans have shown we want him onour screens.
The most fascinatying talks surrounding this movie include that of a Tom Holland's Spider-Man cameo, the return of She-Venom and of course as we saw in the end credits scene, Woody Harrelson as Carnage and if that already doesn't wet your tastebuds then honestly, I don't know what will!
Venom 2 is directed by Andy Serkis and once again stars Hardy as Eddie Brock, who is joined by
Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Reid Scott and Naomie Harris. Look for this one iin theatres around early October 2020.
Oh I almost forget to say this.... Hardy confirmed in August 2018 that he had also signed on to star in a third Venom film...IT'S GONNA BE A TRILOGY and you're welcome!
