THE GREAT WALL is epic not just because it's about one of the seven wonders of the world but also because it's the most expensive Chinese film ever made! Now if that doesn't get you, they've also added, very controversially. Matt Damon as the lead actor. The movie asks the question, and to be honest I've never given this a thought till now, why was the Great Wall built? Was the wall built to keep out ancient monsters?
Who knows? Perhaps we might get our answer in the movie.... The Great Wall is directed by Yimou Zhang and stars Pedro Pascal. Matt Damon, Willem Dafoe, Tian Jing and Andy Lau. Look for this one in theaters around the beginning of February 2017.
