REVIEWED HARD ... NERVE (2016) .. DAVE FRANCO & EMMA ROBERTS Play A Game! THE WINNER GETS TO LIVE!

IN cinema, so many times we've seen games onscreen right? The very line "do you want to play a game?" is from any Saw movie and well game movies have been around for a while now. A few that come to mind are from the obvious such as The Game with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn ( names don't get any bigger than that ) to a movie like Brainscan (1994) with Frank Langella and Edward Furlong, so what makes Nerve (2016) stand out?

We have two fo Hollywoods shining stars, Franco and Roberts hooked on an interactive game, dare I say augmented reality on a whole new level. The game involves to kinds of people, Watchers and Players. The watchers choose what the dares are and the Players try to complete each assignment or task given. Each task seems simple in the beginning but things get trickier the more you play and with each completed task until you're so caught up in this game that you cannot get out and this is the situation our couple, Franco and Roberts, find themselves in, until the fate of their very lives lie in the hands of the Watchers as well as the next dare.

Nerve (2016) is a brilliantly filmed movie with a great ensemble cast that fit the profile and story being told. The thrill factor and scares are right up there with the best of them and while I'm positive some people will say they saw the end coming and it was predictable, it has a nice twist ending which blew me away.

If you have about 90 minutes to spare, give this one a look, it won't be a total waste of time. Franco and Roberts make a cute couple and are totally watchable... so which are you? Player or Watcher?

NERVE (2016) SYNOPSIS
Industrious high school senior Vee Delmonico (Emma Roberts) is tired of living life on the sidelines. Pressured by her friends, Vee decides to join Nerve, a popular online game that challenges players to accept a series of dares. It's not long before the adrenaline-fueled competition requires her to perform increasingly dangerous stunts. When Nerve begins to take a sinister turn, Vee finds herself in a high-stakes finale that will ultimately determine her entire future.
