Batman, Bane and giant monsters? Of course we're in and that's the basic premise of this movie. Batman Unlimited: Mech VS Mutants (2016) is an enjoyable animated movie and as the name suggests, we get to see superheros in mechs going up against some very villainous baddies!
The movie is lighter than some of the other Batman animated movies of late and one can sit and watch this safely with the kids. There's not much depth or progression here in terms of character development but if you're a die hard Batman fan and you have to see this, then you might be pleasantly surprised.
Batman is joined by the likes of The Flash, who seems to be the comic relief, Oliver Queen / The Green Arrow, Nightwing as well as his trusty sidekick, Robin, who seems to be having a tough time adjusting to being a hero.
If you;re in the mood for a light superhero action adventure then look no further than this. I could think of worse things to do in the amount of time it takes you to watch this movie.
