ANNE HATHAWAY IS MENTALLY CONNECTED TO A GIANT MONSTER ... in the upcoming movie, Colossal! That line alone is enough to drag anyone without kicking and screaming into a theater to see this. We truly live in fascinating times to be able to see movies like this and big A-listers together with giant monsters sharing a screen together.Thus far stars attached to the movie include Dan Stevens, Jason Sudeikis, Austin Stowell and Tim Blake Nelson and it's written and directed by Spanish genre director, Nacho Vigalondo. Vigalondo is best known for such movies as Extraterrestial, Open Windows and V/H/S : Viral. There is no set date for the movie yet but it's expected to be completed sometime in 2016.
COLOSSAL SYNOPSIS
The story follows a young woman, played by Hathaway, who returns to her home town after her life takes a head-first dive downward spiral in New York City. After losing both her job and her boyfriend, a giant creature appears over Seoul, wrecking everything in sight and she discovers that she has a strange connection to the monster and the destruction may be linked to her mental breakdown.
