One of Marvel's most enigmatic character / hero, Dr Strange is coming to a theatre near you but for a while we had no idea who would fill the shoes of this supernatural comic book savior, till now. The role of Dr Strange goes to Sherlock actor, Benedict Cumberbatch!We have seen Cumberbatch as the more than memorable arch villain, Khan, to the Federation in Star Trek Into Darkness proving himself to be a foe to be reckoned with and in another turn in a more dramatic role in The Fifth Estate.
The movie will be directed by Scott Derrickson and has a November 2016 release date.
DR STRANGE SYNOPSIS
The film, with Jon Spaihts writing the screenplay, will follow the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
