Thus far our TV's have slowly been saturated with DC superheroes taking the lead, remember Smallville and now we have Arrow and The Flash with a possible Supergirl TV show coming to our homes but Netflix are starting to tip the scale with the TV show of Marvel's Daredevil. The Daredevil / Matt Murdoch will be played by actor Charlie Cox and will also feature actors such as Rosario Dawson, Scott Glenn and Vincent D'Onofrio. The show is currently set to air around 2015 and together with other upcoming Netflix titles will lead up to a crossover in The Defenders. Charlie Cox has stated that Daredevil will be much darker than anything else Marvel has created.
The costume was inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s seminal “Daredevil: Man Without Fear,” a series that is widely considered to be one of the most important and influential Daredevil stories of all time. The image harkens back to the original art by Romita Jr. that inspired the costume.
